US President Donald Trump stated last Thursday that White House will withdraw its forces from Syria soon; a decision that sparked oppositions inside the White House and led into the resignation of U.S. Defense Miniser James Mattis and the U.S. Envoy in the US-led anti-IS coalition Brett McGurk.
Syrian Kurds, too, lashed out at the decision and called it 'stab in back.'
Georgio Kafiro stated that the Trump decision will drive Syrian Kurds towards Damascus and Moscow.
He stated that Turkey welcomed the U.S. decision but is worried about a power vaccume in northern Syria and the emegence of another dangerous scenario, advising Ankara and Washington to cooperate in order to prevent any possible dangerous scenario.
