National Council should return Syria Kurdistan, official tells Kurdpress

<p style="text-align: left;">The head of Syrian Kurds National Coalition blamed the Democratic Union Party (PYD) actions in Syria Kurdistan, in the north, and stated that the council has repeatedly asked the PYD to allow the other parties to participate in the policy process in the region and distance itself from the Kurdistan Workers&amp;rsquo; Party (PKK).

Ebrahim Bro told Kurdpress in an interview that the military attempts by the Peoples&rsquo; Protection Units (PYG), the armed branch of the PYD, let to the death of civilians as they did not listen to the national council and made a situation that provoked Turkey to interfere.

He added that the PYD does nothing for people in Afrin, in the region, and its attempts and actions have led to the death of many civilians, stressing that only a political solution can end the tension in the city.

The Kurdish leader added that it is true that Turkey is against the establishment of a Kurdistan in northern Syria but it can do nothing if it can find no excuse to launch operations.
