No sign US plans to quit Syria: Kurdish official

<p style="text-align: left;">The co-leader of the Syria Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, claimed in remarks that there are no signs that the U.S. plans to withdraw its forces from Syria as planned.

Ahmed who made a visit to the U.S. recently and met President Donald Trump and a number of U.S. senators stated in remarks in Washington about the U.S. planned withdrawal from Syria; that there are no signs that the White House would call his troops home, adding that Trump has promised her to protect the Kurds in Syria.

She further stated that the situation in the north of Syria is just the same as the day Trump announced he planned to withdraw the forces and nothing has changed since then.

In a short talk with Trump I expressed my concerns about the situation of the Kurds in Syria and he assured me not to allow the killing of the Kurds.
