Nechirvan Barzani sends message, hails Kurdish Elites Congress

<p style="text-align: left;">In a message to the Kurdish Elites Congress, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani hailed the congress and thanked Kurdistan Province governor for inviting him to the congress.

&ldquo; It is very pleasing to have such a congress and we appreciate Kurdistan University and Kurdistan governor for holding such a good congress and hope the congress would introduce Kurds more to the world,&rdquo; Barzani said in his message to the congress.

The creators are a part of the human civilization wherever they come from and they belong to the world, they have served the whole humanity and their nation though their works and they, therefore, belong to the whole humanity, Barzani further added in the message.

The president went on to say that he has read the Kurdish poet Mahwi, and Iranian poet Sa&rsquo;adi&rsquo;s Boostan and Golestan and Nali and Hafiz and &ldquo;our fathers and mothers have listened to Hassan Zirak, Khaleqi, Ali Mardan, Shajarian and Nazim Qazals.

Barzani stressed that the realities prove the elites belong to the world and cultural and language diversities and differences are not troublesome, underling that it is the denial of each other and totalitarianism which are the roots of troubles and wars in the history.

The first-ever congress was launched on Thursday, June 2, in Sanandaj the capital of Kurdistan province where 30 Kurdish and 5 non-Kurdish prominent figures would be honored.

The event is organized by Kurdistan Province governorate to award the distinguished Kurdish artists, writers, scholars, and renowned figures in other fields.
