Two killed in Kirkuk bomb blast

<p style="text-align:left">Two people were killed and another was wounded by a bomb blast in the Domiz neighborhood of Kirkuk city on Wednesday night, July 10.

The explosion was caused by a bomb on a booby-trapped motorbike.
The security forces and ambulances rushed to the scene and evacuated the wounded to the hospital and transported the deceased to the forensic department, as reported by NRT.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion, but Islamic State (IS) militants have perpetrated similar attacks in the past.
Although Iraq declared victory against IS in December 2017, the extremists have since been trying to mount a guerrilla-style insurgency, including around Kirkuk.
