Iraqi FM, Masrour Barzani hold phone call

<p style="text-align: left;">Iraqi Foreign Minister Muhammad Ali Hakim held a phone call with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Saturday, Kurdistan 24 reported.

According to the report the Iraqi FM has congratulate Barzani on the formation of the new Kurdish government and wished success for his cabinet.

Hakim further voiced his hope that the new Kurdish government would take serious steps in boosting ties with Baghdad and developing the region and Iraq.

The Kurdish region parliament voted for Barzani’s cabinet last Wednesday and he was officially elected as the region’s new PM.
