Speaking to Etkin Haber from Edirne Prison, Salahattin Demirtas pointed to the fourth anniversary of Suruc massacre and called the move a fascistic and oppressive move against the hope the 7 June elections had made, expressing his sorrow for the actions and events afterwards as Turkey was worried about Syria Kurdistan resistance against national and world hegemonies.
Demirtas further blamed the current presidency system in Turkey and stressed that it is very naïve to expect justice from a system which has been founded on injustice in all fields, from economy to education, from culture to hygiene and from media to politics, stressing that the Kurds in Turkey would continue their struggle against the injustice.
