Robert Fisk warned in an article in the Independent Daily about another war in Syria.
Kurds would be betrayed as before, he wrote about the new border forces that the U.S. plans to establish from Kurdish and Arab fighters. The new force would exist as long as the U.S. needs it and later the Kurds would be left at Turkey and Syria’s mercy.
Neither Syria would accept the presence of a mini state inside its realm nor Turkey would tolerate a mini state on its border, he said, adding that it is not important how much Kurds would claim to be socialist, secular or liberal.
