Clashes continue between Syrian Kurds and Turkish army

<p style="text-align: left;">Clashes continue between the Syrian Kurdish forces and the Turkish army backed by their allied forces in northwestern Syria, as Turkey&amp;rsquo;s offensive enters the fourth day.

Hawar News Agency reported clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Turkish army in the vicinity of Hammam village on Tuesday morning. Three people were wounded in there this morning.

Turkish army also launched attacks on Qamishlo city in northeastern Syria, the agency said. The army bombed homes of civilians resulting in the destruction of private properties.

The SDF fighters responded to the attacks, ANHA added.

The Syrian Democratic Forces also retook the Qirne village in Afrin&rsquo;s district of Bilbil after the Turkish military and their allied forces took control of the village following bombardment by the army.

On Monday, the Syrian Kurdish forces carried out two operations against Turkish military in Azaz north of Afrin, where the Turkish army and Turkish backed-rebels are attacking the Kurdish fighters.

Turkey launched operation "Olive Branch" on Saturday, seeking to oust the YPG from the Afrin region of northwestern Syria.

Reuters reports that around 25,000 Free Syrian Army rebels have joined the Turkish military operation in northern Syria.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the offensive on the northern Syrian region of Afrin have left at least 54 Syrian combatants dead, among them were 26 SDF fighters.
