In an interview with Syrian reporter Eymen Jawad, Nuri Mahmoud blamed the policies of Russia and stated that Russia is a big state and it should play a bigger role in Syria and stop following its own interests solely.
Turkey has changed the stance of Russia in the issues of Idlib and Afrin. Moscow has allowed Russia to interfere in Afrin and Kremlin is only seeking its own interest in Syria.
The spokesman added that Russian forces have not left the town of Afrin.
Mahmoud went on to say that there are 50000 fighters in the ranks of the YPG.
