Hiwa Mustafa stated that Turkey army aerial attacks against the canton still continues and the “attacks targets civilians.”

Speaking with Xenndan website, the co-chair added that no attempt has been made against the attacks and Turkey’s invasion in Afrin, adding that heavy clashes are underway between Turkey army and the Kurdish forces of peoples’ Protection Units (YPG) who are controlling the city.

She confirmed that forces from Kobani and southern Syria as well as Shingal and THE Iraqi Kurdistan Region have joined the Kurdish forces to defend Afrin against Turkey’s invasion, calling on Russia and the international community to respect the sacrifice of the Kurds and humanity in Syria.
