Jamal Etab told SNN that a delegation visited the town on February 19 on behalf of the province’s governor and Iraqi deputy parliament speaker and met the Kurdish people of the city in order to find out their troubles and shortcomings.
Tuz Khormatu fell to the control of the Iraqi army on December 16 after the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga left the control of the city and all other disputed regions in Iraq for the army.
The official went on to add that the committee is to find those families who have received losses and damages in the wake of December 16 tensions in the town.
