US established 20 military bases in Syria Kurdish region: Russian officia

<p style="text-align:left">Russia Natinal Security Deputy Secretary, Aleksander Vendikov, says the U.S. has established 20 military bases in the Kurdish regions of Syria in the north.

He also stated Washington has delivered advanced weapons to the Syrian Kurdish forces of Peoples' Protection Units (YPG) that are controling the regions.
He told Ria Novosti news agency that more foreign interventions would prevent the return of peace to Syria.
He further stated boosting the military power of the Kurdish forces by the U.S. was the main reason behind Turkey's invasion in Afrin canton, in the Kurdish region.
Vendikov continued that the U.S. advanced weapons have increased the Kurds military power and thereby have provoked independence- seeking feelings among Syrian Kurds: someyhing that angered Turkey and it conducted the operation, dubbed Olive Branch Operation.
