Egypt to resume flights to Kurdistan Region

<p style="text-align: left;">EgyptAir announced on Saturday that it would resume its international flights to Kurdistan Region after nearly seven months of a blockade.

Three flights from the national Egyptian airline will be running on a weekly basis as a preliminary stage before adding more flights to the airline's schedule in September, BasNews reported.

In retaliation to the independence referendum held by the Kurdistan Region last September, the international flights were suspended to the region until March 15.
