Turkey army entered 25 kilometers into Kurdistan Region: PKK

<p style="text-align: left;">The Kurdistan Workers&amp;rsquo; Party (PKK) has stated that units of Turkish army have entered 25 kilometers into the Kurdistan Region.

Turkish army stationed in the Bradost region d tries to advance further into the region, PKK spokesman Demhat Tolhildan told Sputnik News on Wednesday, May 16.

PKK fighters attack units of Turkish army every day to prevent the army from advancing further into the region, Tolhildan added.

He further added that Turkish army also tries to build roads to facilitate deployment of heavy weapons in Kani Mase, Sheladze, Zap and Zagros.

Last month, Kurdish local authorities said Turkish army had entered 19 kilometers into the Kurdistan Region, NRT reported.

They added that Turkish military had also created three main headquarters and up to 14 small military bases inside the region.
