<p style="text-align: left;">The Change for Movement (Gorran) announced on Monday, May 28, the sacking of a member of the movement over a lack of obedience to Gorran&amp;rsquo;s rules.

Masoud Haidar, a Gorran member, who is also an Iraqi parliamentarian was dismissed &ldquo;for not abiding by the movement&rsquo;s programs and work,&rdquo; the official media of Gorran reported.

Following his dismissal by Gorran, Haidar said it has been over 40 days since he had resigned from the movement and the faction.

&ldquo;The statement by Gorran is out of interest, since it has been so long that I have resigned,&rdquo; he said in a written statement on his official Facebook account.

&ldquo;I am proud for representing the Kurdish people, defending the soil and people of the Kurdistan Region without [becoming involved in] party conflict, surrendering the [prosperity] of public employee or the constitutional and legal position of the region, or right and sacred identity of the Peshmerga.&rdquo;

The sacking of a Gorran representative in Baghdad comes about two weeks after the Iraqi parliamentary election.

Gorran called for a revote after criticizing the results over accusations of voter rigging,

Gorran said that they are open to all options, including boycotting the political process in Baghdad.
