Expert predicts dangerous PKK- Turkey army clashes in Kurdistan Region

<p style="text-align: left;">A member of the Iraqi parliament foreign commission believes there will be dangerous and threatening clashes between the forces of the Kurdistan Workers&amp;rsquo; Party (PKK) and the Turkish army in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq as the war between the two sides has escalated and stated Ankara is needed to resume the stalled peace talks with the Kurdish parties in the country and give its Kurds their rights in a peaceful way.

Mothana Amin told Kurdpress in an interview that Turkey army operation into the Kurdish region is a violation of Iraq&rsquo;s integrity and Iraq has stopped short of making a serious reaction against the move and cannot protect its borders and sovereignty and said the weak Baghdad reaction is because it is wrestling with numerous and diverse troubles and problems.

The official denied there is any kind of deal between Ankara and Baghdad over Turkey military operation into Iraq, but did not deny the presence of an oral and unwritten deal between the two sides.

Amin added that the central government in Baghdad has trouble dealing with both the PKK and the Kurdish regional government in the north, stressing that the PKK should respect Iraq and the Kurdish region&rsquo;s sovereignty as the Iraqi constitution is clearly against the use of Iraq soil for conducting hostile operation into the neighboring countries.

He stated the central government is responsible against the Turkey aerial operation but it cannot stand against the operation and the Kurdish region is unwilling, in the wake of the realities on the ground and the deep Erbil-Ankara ties, to make a tough reaction against the operation.
