the PKK accuses the KDP of cooperation with Turkey army which is conducting operation against the PKK both inside Turkey and in the Kurdish autonomous region in the north of Iraq.

The KDP has repeatedly refuted any possible cooperation with the Turkish army against the PKK and say the PKK is the main reason behind the insecurity on the border areas of Kurdistan Region and Turkey’s aerial operations into the region.

Osman say the root of the tension goes back to the way Turkey considers and sees the Kurdish question in the country as the PKK and its Leader Abdullah Ocalan have expressed their readiness for negotiation with Ankara but Turkey officials have rejected the call repeatedly, adding that the tensions would have been ended if the Turkish side had accepted the calls for negotiation.

He stressed Turkey likes Kurds in Iraq to fight against the PKK within Turkey interests and political goals but the incident would not happen as Barzani has repeatedly reiterated that he would not let any Kurd to kill another Kurd and Kurdish fratricide would never happen again.

The politician predicted Turkey would finally solve the Kurdish question and Ocalan would be liberated as PKK demands are not many.

Osman further refuted any possible Erbil and Baghdad deal with Ankara to let Turkey to conduct operation against the PKK in Iraq and blamed the two government in Iraq for remaining silent in the wake of Turkish army operation into the region and Iraq, blaming Washington for fueling tensions as provides arms, such as drones, for Turkish army which used the amrs against the PKK.
