According to NRT Turkish artillery bombarded Garwy Garwata area and Chyadil as well as the villages around Khalifan, Lelikan and Alakan in the Bradost region.

The bombardment came just few hours after Turkish warplanes bombed the foothills of the Qandil Mountains in the region.

Casualties of both bombardments remained unclear.

Turkish army’s mortar shell killed a 19-yer-old girl in the village of Haalnia on Saturday.

Besides airstrikes, units of the Turkish army have entered 30 kilometers into northern Iraq, according to Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim. On June 21, Yildirim said Turkey had created 11 temporary military bases in northern Iraq.
