<p style="text-align: left;">Mike Dempsy believes the US wants to stay in Syria and have role in future Syria and Washington has therefore invested on Kurdish forces and has backed them.

An analyst at Foreign Relation Council Institue, Michael Dempsy, added that US remaining in Syria is an important issue as there are more than 2000 US troops in the war-torn state and ha established some military bases in Syria.
He added that US support to the Kurdish forces in Syria will protect the Kurds from possible attacks and the US can therefore stay in Syria and make sure no further terrorist group would emerge in Syria.
The analyst ultimately added that continued US support to the Kurds in Syria will prevent Damascus from regaing the control of the Kurdish regions in the north.
