According to a Salih office statement the two officials discussed the regional and world issues, stressed on dialogue and negotiation and called for acheiving the legal rights of the Kurds through peaceful ways.
The two sides also called for taking peaceful ways for solving regional tensions and asked for refraining from war and conflict for providing peace, security and welfare for the nations in the region.
Baydemir, a former Diyarbakir Mayor and Turkey Parliament Deputy, made a visit to Erbil and Sulaimani where he met Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Leader Masoud Barzani, Kurdistan Deputy PM Qubad Talabani, PUK Political Council Leader Kosrat Rasul and a number of PUK leading council members.
