Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the resignation of his government at the same time as the new parliamentary term begins. The resignation is a legal and ceremonial act following the parliamentary elections and does not mean Pashinyan is stepping down from power; he is expected to be nominated by the parliamentary majority again for the post of prime minister.
