Syria Service – In the continuation of the restructuring of the Syrian army, Abu Amsha and Saif Abu Bakr Polat have been removed from the command of the 62nd and 76th divisions and appointed to lower positions. Arab media have assessed these decisions as part of the Syrian interim government’s attempt to dissolve the command networks of the former Free Army groups and create a centralized army under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense.
