The United States said on Friday it was “deeply concerned” by the continued escalation of Islamic State (ISIS) attacks in Iraq, following an ISIS attack that killed 10 members of the Peshmerga forces.
On Tuesday, Nov 30, the Co-Leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Talabani, held a meeting with a number of Peshmerga commanders and security agencies in Dabashan to discuss the security situation in the disputed areas that both Erbil and Baghdad claim authority over.
