The Turkish Ministry of Interior declared on Tuesday the launch of "Operation Eren-12" against the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in both Sirnak and Siirt provinces in the Kurdish regions of the country in the southeast.
Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement that a Turkish security force was killed in clashes with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants in the Turkish-Iraqi border region.
