Service Turkey – A court in Ankara has issued a prison sentence for Erdal Beşikçioğlu, Mayor of Etimsgut, and 39 other defendants in the framework of an investigation into alleged irregularities and corruption in tenders and financial and development activities of the municipality. Four defendants have also been released under judicial supervision.
