Turkey Desk – The "No to NATO" coalition held a protest march in Istanbul to condemn the NATO summit in Ankara and the detention of activists prior to the event; calling for Turkey's immediate withdrawal from the alliance, the group demanded the closure of all NATO military bases in the country.
