Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar visited in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, late on Monday and met for the first time with the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani.
Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar on Tuesday, January 19, when the two sides discussed ways to implement the Shingal agreement signed last autumn by Erbil and Baghdad.
