According to a Kurdistan 24 TV, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, who traveled to the Kurdistan Region Monday night after meeting with senior Iraqi officials in Baghdad, had his first official meeting with the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Masoud Barzani in Erbil on Tuesday, January 19.
According to the report, during the meeting, the two sides discussed the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey and coordination as well as military and security cooperation.
