U.S. President Joe Biden did not remain faithful to his administration’s goal of running bilateral relations through formal and institutional channel with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan by failing to condemn Turkey’s attempt to close the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), Aykan Erdemir, senior director of Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) Turkey program and a former member of the Turkish Parliament said on Tuesday.
