World Service – Al-Monitor reported, citing Iraqi and oil industry sources, that international oil companies operating in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have decided to halt their oil production from the region until further notice, following the escalation of military tensions between Iran and the United States.
Iraq and Kurdistan Region Service - A member of the Security and Defense Commission of the Iraqi Parliament announced that oil companies operating in the Kurdistan Region will resume production from next week, and in the first phase, 200,000 barrels of oil will be produced daily.
