"It is necessary for the United States to seek a solution to the Syrian issue first and then leave Syria because the parties present at the Astana meeting do not want peace in Syria," Galo Issa said.
"I do not think that the United States will leave Syria like Afghanistan at the moment," Mr. Issa told Kurdpress. "Because the United States still has concerns in Syria."
He continued to say that "It is better for the United States to make its withdrawal from Syria conditional on resolving the Syrian issue, because peace will not be in the region until the Syrian issue is not resolved."
The Kurdish politician told Kurdpress that in the end all the United States and all other forces will leave Syria, adding: "Eventually, all the United States and all other groups must leave Syria, but now the international coalition has an important responsibility."
"The withdrawal of the United States from Syria will lead the parties present at the Astana summit to put the situation in Syria to before 2011 and then seize peace from Syria."
