According to informed sources, the coordination framework has given the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan 48 hours to resolve their differences regarding the presidential post.

Aqeel Redini, the spokesman of the Nasr coalition, announced in an interview with "Al-Sabah" newspaper that the coordination framework board has played an important role in bringing together the views of the two Kurdish parties regarding the election of the president.

He added: The meetings of this delegation have led to the emergence of positive signs from the Kurdish side to end the political deadlock and move towards the implementation of constitutional rights within their legal framework.

Redini explained that the coordination framework has given the Kurdish parties two days to end this impasse and reach an agreement on the election of the president; An act that paves the way for the completion of other remaining constitutional rights.

Last night, the coordination framework delegation returned to Baghdad after a series of important meetings with the leaders of the two Kurdish parties in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.

This newspaper reported, quoting informed sources, that these meetings have brought positive results and a basis for consensus between the two parties has been created regarding the mechanism for electing the president; in a way that prevents any crisis in the political process and ensures compliance with the deadlines of the constitution.
