Speaking to the official website of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) about the final results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections and the formation of the next government, Jafar Eminki said the Shiite movements in the country have not yet reached an agreement on forming a government and the final results of the polls have not been officially announced yet.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party political bureau member added that in the past the agreements reached in Iraq were not implemented properly and therefore the necessary measures were not taken and Iraq was suffering from widespread corruption and now a very strong political will is needed to form a government that has the ability to take actions to solve problems.
Regarding the possibility of forming a new government in Iraq, he said that the most probable scenario for the formation of a government at the moment is that the next government will be formed with the presence of Kurds, Sunnis and other movements that have won the most of the votes in the elections.
