Turkey attack on Syrian Kurds is still serious: commander

Mazloum Kobani warned if Turkey gets the chance to attack the Syrian Kurds again, it will not hesitate.

Mazloum Kobani, the Kurdish commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, told the French newspaper Le Monde that Turkey's attack on the areas controlled by the Syrian Kurds in still serious and possible.
In the interview, he talked about Turkey's failure to get the green light from the US and Russia to attack the Syrian Kurds, but emphasized that these two countries have not given any guarantee to the Kurds that the Turkish attack will not be carried out. Kobani emphasized that Kurdish-Arab Assyrian forces in northeastern Syria are ready to face a possible Turkish attack.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces stressed that everyone's concern should be to deal with the secret cells of ISIS.
Mazloum Kobani said Turkey always wants to have a foothold in Syria in order to destroy the lives of Kurds in the country.
