Lack of cooperation between Iraqi army, Kurds returned IS: daily

<p style="text-align: left;">According to Daily Express the lack of cooperation between Iraqi army and the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga after the independence referendum of Kurdistan Region on September 25, 2017, is the main reason behind the return of the terrorists of the Islamic State (IS) to Kirkuk, Daily and Salahaddin.

The militants of the IS have resumed their operations in some Iraqi regions, including the oil-rich Kurdish majority province of Kirkuk.

A Kurdish Peshmerga wondered in an interview with the daily whether Baghdad expects the Peshmerga forces to go to Dialy province again and aid Iraqi army in expelling the IS militants from the region?

He further added that the Kurdish forces are not being attack by the IS militants; there are Iraqi forces that are being attack and &ldquo;we are not there any longer as they (Iraqi forces) expelled us.&rdquo;

The daily warned that the IS militants are returning to some regions in Iraq.
