<p style="text-align: left;">Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) secretary general Saladin Bahadin said on Sunday, June 2, that it is not reasonable the two ruling parties in the Kurdistan Region is playing with the fate of the current governance experience in the Kurdistan Region.

The people in the Kurdistan Region were waiting for stability and end to plight and rearrangement of the constitutional and national institutions, but unfortunately the reality is something else, Bahadin said in a statement directed to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriot Union of Kurdistan (PUK), NRT reported.
&ldquo;How now it is the time for this disharmony, irregularity and threats, the protection of our Region is a national duty and could not be neglected, because the political situation in Iraq, the area and the international directions are giving us hazardous messages,&rdquo; he said.
The KIU leader also called on the KDP and PUK to reach an agreement as soon as possible and resolve their differences through negotiations and discussions and do not let war of language be dominant and the political process and the formal and national institutions maim.
&ldquo;The Kurdistan Region does not endure these obstacles and excuses for not unifying, as well as big damage would be inflicted on all of the sides.&rdquo;
He also lashed out at the two ruling parties for playing with the Region&rsquo;s experience in governance and bringing faulty political pretexts and avenging each other.
&ldquo;I am calling on the KDP and PUK to make a quick decision about reconciliation and prevent proliferation and escalation in order the situation would not be worse,&rdquo; he added.
