We have disbanded the PKK and ended the armed struggle against Turkey
Service Turkey – Mustafa Karasu, a member of the KCK Executive Council, emphasized that the PKK has ended the armed struggle against Turkey and said that limiting the peace process to disarmament will not lead to the solution of the Kurdish issue. He considered the implementation of legal and constitutional reforms, providing the possibility of free activity for Abdullah Öcalan, the release of prisoners and the return of political activists abroad as requirements for advancing this process.

Turkey Desk – Mustafa Karasu, a member of the KCK Executive Council, criticized the lack of clarity regarding the drafting of the "framework law" and the absence of meetings with Abdullah Öcalan since May. He stated that resolving the Kurdish issue cannot be achieved solely through disarmament or the withdrawal of forces; rather, the existence of the Kurds must be legally and constitutionally recognized.
