Iraq and Kurdistan Region Service - The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced the signing of a one-year agreement with Turkey to resume crude oil exports via Ceyhan port; an agreement that, according to Baghdad, will be in effect until a long-term energy contract is finalized.
Iraq and Kurdistan Region Service- Mazhar Muhammad Saleh, the Iraqi prime minister’s financial adviser, estimated that the Iran war has cost Iraq between $40 and $45 billion, due to a sharp drop in oil exports.
Turkey Service – Iraq and Turkey have reached an agreement to sign an interim protocol for the continued export of oil from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region via the Ceyhan oil pipeline; this agreement will remain in effect until a new long-term contract between the two countries is finalized.
