Kurdish democratic activities been taken as terrorist in past 40 years: Khatip Dicle

<p style="text-align: left;">Turkey famous Kurdish politician, Khatib Dicle, criticized government attempts against the Democratic Society Congress (DTK), stating that it is for 40 years that Kurdish democratic activities have been taken and reacted as terrorist activities.

By targeting DTK, they are trying to prevent Kurds from boosting their democratic arena," Dicle said, adding that this congress is a very important milestone in the political settlement of the Kurdish issue and it enjoys a very significant status in the Abdullah Ocalan (PKK jailed leader) project in resolving the Kurdish issue in Turkey.

According to Mezopotamya new agency, Dicle went on to add that "for the 30 to 40 past years any activities and organization of Kurds, even in a legal framework, have been confronted with a government barrier which has not changed in nature, and all Kurdish parties, democratic organizations, associations, syndicates, etc. have been considered "terrorist organizations" and have been banned. With these lies, they are trying to impede the Kurdish legal and democratic activities".
