US to take home all ISIS American nationals from Syria and Iraq

The State Department says it is repatriating all ISIS fighters and their families who are currently being held by Syrian Kurdish or Iraqi forces.

According to the Daily Mail, Peter Galbraith, a former US diplomat, is trying to repatriate all Americans who are in Syrian Kurdish-controlled camps.

He told the Daily Mail that an 8-year-old American girl whose parents were members of ISIS and who were killed in the battle with the Syrian Kurds was recently identified by the Kurds and preparations for her return to the United States will be made soon.

Kurdish officials say a group of Somali women members of ISIS at Camp Rouge have tried to hide the American girl's identity from Kurdish guards.

The US State Department has told the British Daily Mail that it is repatriating all its citizens who have fought for foreign groups, including in Iraq and Syria, and may prosecute them.

Kurdish guards rescued 8-year-old Amina Mohammed on July 17 at a Somali compound at Camp Rouge, saying the American girl, whose mother was from Tennessee and who had been killed along with her father, had been harassed.
