Suleiman Osso, the head of the Syrian Kurdish Patriotic Parties and a member of the Board of Directors of the ENKS, told Kurdpress in an interview that the return of the Roj Peshmerga forces to Syrian Kurdistan is a major component of the Dohuk Agreement between the ENKS and the YNKS.
We will continue our dialogue according to the provisions of this agreement to reach a result, he further added.
We have a problem at this time as we have started the talks, but all our efforts as the ENKS is to reach a comprehensive agreement with the other side, he said.
The head of the PYKS noted that the return of Roj Peshmerga to Syrian Kurdistan is very important for us, as the ENKS, adding that "The second stage of the Kurdish-Kurdish alliance talks will be held in Syria in accordance with the Duhok Agreement.”
The most important point in the negotiations will undoubtedly be the creation of "a joint military force", he said. “The return of the Roj Peshmerga forces will also be on the agenda."
Osso further told KurdPress that: “Both the United States and the Democratic Union of Syria PYD positive views on the presence of Roj Peshmerga inside a joint military force. And a commission should be formed to analyze the issue as it is a very sensitive issue.”
