Minutes before Weshe news site, it was reported that today, Saturday, September 22nd, Turkish army jets heavily bombarded areas in Bradost in the Erbil province of the Kurdistan Region.
According to the report, several Bradost points, including Mount Boli and Mount Konkotar, were bombed twice in a row.
Citing news sources in the area, Weshe reported that the supposed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) positions in the area appeared to have been targeted in the attack, but that no casualties had been reported.
Bradost region, located 144 km northeast of Erbil and the border between Iran, Iraq and Turkey, includes 250 villages. Some 100 villages in the region have been evacuated and dozens of people in the region have lost their lives due to Turkey attacks in the past 20 years.
