Turkey is seeking to destroy Syrian Kurdish administration: official

<p style="text-align: left;">A founder of the democratic self-ruling administration in Kobani Canton stated that Turkey is to attempting to destroy the self-administration in northern Syria.

"Turkey intends to hit the administration by any means," Brivan Hassan, a member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) leadership committee and the co-chair of the party office in Euphrates region told KurdPress about Turkey's intentions to cut off Hasaka water in eastern and northern Syria.

He continued: "Turkey's action is not limited to cutting off the water of Hasakah, but by reducing the water of the Euphrates, it has faced the whole of northern and eastern Syria with a water crisis."

She added: "Turkey's goal is clear. Turkey wants the Kurds to be vulnerable and it will use every means to destroy them."

"Every time the Kurds achieve something, Turkey uses the policy of pressure and repression to destroy that achievement," said the joint head of the Euphrates branch of the PYD.

She further pointed out in the interview that Turkey is not a friend of the Kurds and has tied its existence to enmity with Kurds.
