King Abdullah II of Jordan stressed at the Baghdad summit that Iraq is playing a key role in strengthening regional and international dialogue, according to Middle East News and Analysis.
"Our presence at this conference today is a testament to Iraq's central role in the region," he said, underlining that Iraq has been working for several years to consolidate and institutionalize a constitutional government.
"Supporting Iraq is a priority for all of us and we thank the efforts of Baghdad government in hosting this meeting. Iraq's security and stability is our security and stability," King Abdullah of Jordan further said.
He went on to add: "Our presence in Baghdad today is to strengthen the policy of this country in establishing comprehensive relations with different countries. We support the efforts of the Iraqi government in the fight against terrorism, extremism and reconstruction, and all doors must be opened for full economic relations."
