PKK denies presence of forces in Nagorno-Karabakh war

<p style="text-align: left;">A spokesman for the Kurdistan Workers&amp;rsquo; Party (PKK) Foreign Relations Committee denied allegations in the Turkish media that some PKK forces are involved in the Armenian-Azerbaijani war in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh war between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Roni Sardam, the spokesman for the PKK Foreign Relations Committee, said in a statement: "With the encouragement of the Turkish government, a new war has begun in the Caucasus. First of all, it should be noted that neither the Armenian nor the Azeri nation started this war. The war known as the Armenia-Azerbaijan war is in fact a war of the Turkish government, a project of neo-Ottomanism. The Turkish government needs a war in the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus in order to achieve its goals, and it waged this war by its affiliated militants."

"Many of the world's leading newspapers and journalists have reported on the transfer of militants from Syria to Nagorno-Karabakh by the Turkish government," he was quoted as saying by Media Haber.

&ldquo; When the plan was leaked, the Turkish government began spreading false news about the PKK. The Turkish government has fabricated a big lie by thinking that the PKK is present in every geography where it fules war, and thus has shown its enmity with the Kurds at all levels. In addition, such false propaganda is part of a special war. The release of this false news by the ruling AK Party is Turkey's desire to deepen its enmity with the nations, especially the Kurdish people. It is time to say no to Turkey's provocative and occupying actions."
