According to Shafaq News, Hassan Janabi issued a statement in this regard and stated that Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein will travel to Turkey in the coming days to pave the way for al-Kadhimi's visit to Ankara.

Without referring to the details of al-Kadhimi visit to Turkey, Janabi added: "Kadhimi is scheduled to travel to Ankara next Thursday at the head of a high-level delegation."

In mid-October, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan invited Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kadhimi to pay an official visit to Turkey.
