The arrest of 3 Turkish citizens in Iraq due to creating fear among the residents of Baghdad

Iraq and Kurdistan Region Service - An Iraqi security source said today, Sunday, that three Turkish citizens were arrested who went to the homes of citizens in the "Hay al-Amil" area in the west of Baghdad and asked the residents to evacuate their homes.

An Iraqi security source announced this Sunday that three Turkish citizens have been arrested for knocking on the doors of some houses in the "Hay al-Amil" area in the west of Baghdad and warning the residents to evacuate their houses in order to demolish the houses in the framework of an investment project in this area.

According to Al-Sumaria's announcement, this source said: Security forces managed to arrest 3 people with Turkish citizenship in Hayy Al-Amal area. These people entered this neighborhood and by knocking on the doors of the citizens' houses, they warned them that they should evacuate their houses, because they are investors and they intend to destroy their residential houses.

He added: Complaints were filed against these people and they are in temporary custody so that legal procedures can be followed.
