According to Kordpress, Mazloum Abdi, the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and Elham Ahmed, the co-head of the foreign relations department of the autonomous administration, met with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference and discussed the ceasefire, the stability of Syria and the continuation of international support.

SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, along with Elham Ahmed, Co-Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Self-Government Administration, met with French President Emmanuel Macron during the Munich Security Conference.

According to the statement published by the SDF media center, the delegation present in this meeting appreciated the continuous support of France and especially emphasized the role of Paris in efforts to establish a ceasefire and strengthen stability in the region.

In this conversation, it was also emphasized the importance of continuing international support to ensure the implementation of the January 29 agreement and the completion of its provisions in order to advance the process of integration and stabilization of the situation in Syria.

Emmanuel Macron, while confirming the continuation of France's efforts in this framework, praised the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in fighting terrorism and strengthening security and stability in the region.
