Official expresses worry over parliament election in Kurdistan Region

<p style="text-align: left;">The chief of Reform List in Kurdistan Region stated that the people of the region and political parties are worried about the clarity of the upcoming parliament election in the region.

Shirko Jawdet told Kurdpress in an interview that the list is fully ready for taking part in the poll, warning about the postponement of the election as there are negotiations between some political parties. He reiterated that the list backs holding the election on time but it negotiates with all parties that like to negotiation with the list over the postponement.

He added the list is seeking to make reforms in the list of the eligible voters and will officially announce its demands to the Independent Supreme Commission of Election and Referendum.

The Kurdish leader also demanded for the participation of the Kurds in the new Ireaqi government and underlined that their participation would boost their position in Baghdad, underlining that it is very difficult for the Iraqi Kurds to restore their powerful position.
